Authors sit at the computer all day in their jammies,
eating pizza and chocolates. Everyone knows this, right?
Wait--let me stop laughing!
If you still think it's true, then go read my Bio. Heck, while you're
at it, read a few of my books. You don't pick up that kind of information
eating pizza and chocolates. Nor did I take my pizza anywhere near
the tiger I met while researching Alligator Alley. Yes, I know, there
wasn't a tiger in Alligator Alley. But there was one in Big Cat Country
when I got a personal, one-on-one tour of its underground, behind-the-scenes
area. (There may have been chocolate in my pocket; if so, I didn't
share.)
But you're here for news, right? So ...
Don't Miss This!
Witch in the House was awarded 5 Cups from Coffee Time Romance AND selected as a Fresh Pick at Fresh Fiction.
"If
you prefer your paranormal romances a bit more on the sparkling side, try
WITCH IN THE HOUSE. (Avon $5.99 384 pages) by Jenna McKnight. Jade Delarue
is known for her excellent spells, which she casts from the family home,
Mystic Manor, in small-town Missouri. When she casts a successful love spell
that leaves a man standing at the
altar, she casts a kindly spell to bring him a better match. While she's
at it, she casts another to bring the right man into her world.
You can guess what happens: the two spells get mixed up, and no matter what
Jade tries, she can't seem to reverse them. McKnight's attention to detail
gives this funny, warm-spirited romance its fresh and lively feeling. For
me, reading about the manor's conservatory alone was worth the trip, though
Mason -- a Pierce Brosnan clone -- is a plus, too." ~ Barbara Samuel,
